Founded in 2020, Saint michael clothing is a luxury streetwear label created by Japanese designer Yuta Hosokawa and multidisciplinary artist Cali Thornhill DeWitt. The brand brings together Japanese design influences, American street culture and a distinctive vintage inspired aesthetic that defines SAINT Mxxxxxx.

Before launching Saint michael clothing (SAINT Mxxxxxx), Hosokawa became known as the designer behind READYMADE, a Japanese label recognized for transforming vintage military materials into contemporary clothing. DeWitt built his career across art, fashion, photography and graphic design. The pair worked together before creating SAINT Mxxxxxx and their shared interest in art, vintage clothing and graphic expression became central to every Saint Michael design.

SAINT Mxxxxxx made its debut with its Fall/Winter 2020 collection. Rather than making new garments look perfectly new, Saint Michael Clothing often gives them the character of pieces that have already lived a life. Faded colors, cracked graphics, distressed fabric, discoloration, washed finishes, and other intentionally aged details help create its recognizable look across all Saint Michael apparel.
